Overview

After June 24, 2013, you may receive errors when downloading 3PUP catalogs from the SolarWinds content server's update catalogs.

Cause

The EminentWare certificate used to sign the files has expired and a SolarWinds certificate is replacing it.

Resolution

You can run the Patch Manager Update Configuration Wizard.

You can also add SolarWinds, Inc. to your third party trusted publishers list by doing the following.

  1. Open the MMC console.
  2. Navigate to Administration and Reporting > Software Publishing.
  3. From action pane on the right, select Synchronization Settings.
  4. Navigate to the Trusted Publishers tab, and do one of the following:
    • Click Add Publisher, and enter "SolarWinds, Inc." without the quotation marks;
      - OR -
    • Select Trust catalogs that are not digitally signed.
