Overview

The Patch Manager console receives the following error.

 

The process cannot access the file 'C:\users\username$\appdata\local\EminentWare\Templates\feeds\ewfeed.cab' because it is being used by another process...

Environment

All versions of Patch Manager

Cause 

This error indicates that the anti-virus is scanning a file and is making it inaccessible. 

Resolution

Disable the anti-virus client on the server and launch the Patch Manager console.
