Overview

If you are unable to open the console with the error below, it indicates that your C:\ is full and you will need to remove files to free up space. The following error is received:

 

Sorry, we are unable to connect to the Patch Manager Server. Verify that the connection information for the Patch Manager is correct and the Data Grid Service is started.
Details: An I/O exception occurred while copying the data from the item to its destination
Type: Xceed.Zip.ZippedFile
FullName: \cmdb\eminentware-filediskvolume.xcs

Environment

All Patch Manager versions

Cause 

This is because the C:\ is full.

Resolution

  1. You will need to remove files from your C:\ .
  2. If the PM is installed on a separate drive, remove the update files from the service account appdata directory.
  3. If you are unsure which files you should delete, consult SolarWinds Technical Support for assistance.
