How to uninstall an update with Update Management

  • Patch Manager v2.0

  1. Install the latest Java update - Installing Updates
  2. Uninstall the older version of Java using Update Management.

a. In the left pane of the Patch Manager console, expand Enterprise > Update Services > WSUS Server > Updates.

b. Select the package you want uninstall. For example, Java.

c. In the right pane, select Update Management.

d. In the Action drop down, select Uninstall and then click OK.

e. Follow the prompts to target the task at your client machine.
