Overview

Patch Manager is unable to automatically remove older Java versions after installing the latest Java version update. This article points to a procedure on how to remove old Java versions.

Patch Manager 2.1

Resolution

Currently Sun has allowed packaged to co exist within the environments , so after installing updates you will see the old packages as well please check the manual procedure to Remove old versions of Java with PM.
