MaxExcelRowCount error when exporting a report from Patch Manager

Overview

The following error appears when exporting a report to Microsoft Excel from Patch Manager.

Export failed

Reason: Can't export more rows than MaxExcelRowCount. Use FileLimitBehaviour property if you want to change default behavior.

Environment

All Patch Manager versions

Cause

Design limitation within SolarWinds Patch Manager of a maximum of 64k rows.

Resolution

Export the report as a CSV file. When completed, import the file into a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet.
