Unable to save new tasks in Patch Manager

When you save a task in Patch Manager, the task is not saved and returns an exception error similar to the following:

Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\EminentWare\Tasks\


All Patch Manager versions


Automatic task maintenance cleans all tasks twice an hour by default.


  1. Log in to the Patch Manager Administrator Console as an administrator.
  2. Select Administration and Reporting.
  3. In the center console, click General Settings.
  4. Click Clear Caches and View Layouts.
  5. In the Automatic Task Maintenance box, select another date range, and then click OK.
