Unable to remove old Java versions after a Java update

Overview

Patch Manager cannot remove older Java versions after installing the latest Java version update. 

Environment

Patch Manager 2.1

Cause

Currently, Oracle allows packages to coexist within the environments. After you install a Java update, the older packages remain.

Resolution

There is more than one way to remove the old Java versions from Managed clients.
