Unable to log in to Patch Manager due to authentication failure

Overview

When you have more than one account or application that accesses various sources, the credential will be changed, causing an authentication failure.

Environment

  • All Patch Manager versions

Cause

The user account was locked multiple times. This account could be used by an Orion product and not Patch Manager. 

Resolution

Uninstall the Orion product.
