Synchronize the third party software catalogs

This article describes how to synchronize your list of third-party catalogs. These catalogs need to be synchronized on a regular basis to keep your patches updated.  


Patch Manager 2.1.x


See the Table of Third Party Patches on THWACK to verify that your software patch was released.

If your software patch is on the list but not in your third-party list, perform the following steps: 

  1. Log in to the Patch Manager Administrator Console as an administrator.
  2. Expand Administration and Reporting and select Software Publishing.
  3. In the Actions pane, click Synchronize Now.

    The synchronization procedure may require several minutes to complete.

  4. When the synchronization is completed, click Next.
  5. Select your targeted catalogs, and then click Refresh.
  6. Verify that your new software package is available for download.
