Remove WSUS from Patch Manager

Overview

This article describes how to remove WSUS functions from Patch Manager. Perform this procedure if you are using WSUS and prefer to run Patch Manager in a System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) configuration. 

Environment

  • Patch Manager version 2.1
  • WSUS

Steps

  1. Log in to Patch Manager as an administrator.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Patch Manager System Configuration.

  3. In the center pane, double-click Select Products and Features.
  4. In the Products and Features dialog box, clear the WSUS Extension Pack check box, and click Continue.

  5. Restart Patch Manager.
