When Patch Manager runs a task against an organizational unit (OU), the task fails or partially runs. When this occurs, the C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\PM\Log\EminentWare.WorkerProcess\EminentWare.WorkerProcess.exe.XXXXXX.XXXX.XXXX.log.txt
file shows the below error:
LDAPConnection::ctor unable to translate forest name to DS_FQDN_1779_NAME. DnsDomainName: AnExampleADName.local.internal ForestName: AnExampleADName.local.internal Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Patch Manager versions earlier than 2.1.2
The task contains an empty OU.
Locate any empty OUs in the tasks that have an issue. If found:
