Overview

This article describes the issue with Patch Manager groups that you have created manually are missing its members and needs to be restored.

 

Environment

  • Patch Manager - All Supported Versions

Cause 

  • Accidental Deletion
  • Undetermined

Resolution

Restore the following file...

C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Patch Manager\Server\templates\computergroups\<GROUPNAME>.ecg.zip
 

Note: You may not be able to restore the file unless you have a snapshot of the VM or a recent backup of C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Patch Manager\ directory.
