How to enable WSUS auto approvals

This article explains how to enable WSUS auto approvals.


  • All Patch Manager versions
  • All WSUS versions


  1. Open the WSUS Administration Console.
    Click Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.
  2. Go to Options > Automatic Approvals.
  3. Select Default Automatic Approval Rule.
  4. Click OK.
