How to disable WSUS auto approvals

Overview

This article explains how to disable WSUS auto approvals.

Environment

  • All Patch Manager versions
  • All WSUS versions

Steps

  1. Open the WSUS Administration Console.
    Click Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.
  2. Go to Options > Automatic Approvals.
  3. Deslect Default Automatic Approval Rule.
  4. Click OK.
