Overview

Currently, the only way to change the location of the local patch store on a Patch Manager server is to uninstall and then reinstall the software. Doing so gives you the option to specify an alternative installation folder.

Environment

Patch Manager

Steps

The default path for the local patch store is:

%PROGRAMFILES%\EminentWare\Server\packages

It is not typical for this folder to consume much disk space, and you can delete the files from within this folder as soon as you have published your packages.

To Uninstall:

1)  Go to Programs and Features.

2)  Highlight Solarwinds Patch Manager and select Uninstall.

To Install:

1)  Run the SolarWinds-Orion-PM full installer .exe file.

You can right click your packages after publishing and select delete content.
