Error 1069 is displayed in the Patch Manager Administrator Console

The following error displays in the Patch Manager Administrator Console:

Error 1069: User logon failure


All Patch Manager versions


Incorrect user logon credentials.  


Make sure that the EminentWare Data Grid Service credentials running the service are typed in properly.

If you are using the default ewdgsvc-xxx account:

  1. In the Windows operating system, open the Apps window.
  2. Open Computer Management.
  3. Select Local Users and Groups and locate the user account.
  4. Enter a password for the account and save your changes.
  5. In the Computer Management window, maximize Services and Applications and select Services.
  6. Locate Eminentware Data Grid Service.
  7. Right-click the service and select Properties.
  8. Click the Log On tab.
  9. Enter and rekey the password.
  10. Reset the MEKey and MPKey.
  11. Save your changes.
  12. Restart the EminentWare Data Grid Service.
