Overview

This article describes how you can increase CPU threading within Patch Manager. This article describes how you can increase CPU threading within Patch Manager. The max is  16 threads per WP  with 128 concurrent jobs.

Environment

Patch manager version 2.1

Steps

  1. Expand Patch Manager System Configuration > Expand Patch Manager Servers.
  2. Select Application Servers.
  3. Highlight your PAS in the center pane. 
  4. Select the Application Server Settings.  
  5. Select Maximum Concurrent Jobs. 
  6. Double click the item to adjust the value.

 

You can also access the thread pool settings under Patch Manager Servers by doing the steps below:

  1. Expand Patch Manager System Configuration > Select Patch Manager Servers.
  2. Highlight your PAS in the center pane. 
  3. Select the Automation Server Settings.
  4. Select Maximum Thread Pool Size per Worker Process.  
  5. Double click the item to adjust the value.
  6. You can also set the Maximum Worker Process from this tab.
