Environment

Patch Manager

Steps

Use the following Registry keys and String values in your Inventory Configuration Template.

For 32-bit computers:

  • Registry Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • Registry Key Path: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
  • Registry Value (String): Version

For 64-bit computers:

  • Registry Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • Registry Key Path: SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
  • Registry Value (String): Version

Important Note: Creating this new Inventory Configuration Template does not alter any existing scheduled Inventory tasks. To add this information to your scheduled Inventory tasks, replace those tasks with new ones using your new template.
