Export and import a third party catalog available only on one server

This article describes how to export and import a third party catalog provided by SolarWinds in case they are only available on one Patch Manager server. This will also help if you cannot download an earlier .MSI/.EXE Adobe package using the download link provided in the third party package option.

For example, if the below packages are missing or are not displayed on the first server, you can use the Export Catalog or Import Catalog to export or import them to the second server:




All Patch Manager versions


  1. Log in to the Patch Manger console where the latest catalogs are available.
  2. Click Software Publishing.
  3. Select the missing package/s.
  4. Click Export Catalog under the Actions pane.
  5. Follow the prompts, enter a file name, and then click Save.
  6. Copy the exported catalog file (.cab) to the Patch Manager server where the third party updates are not available.
  7. Log in to the Patch Manager server where these latest catalogs are not available.
  8. Click Import Catalog under Actions.
  9. Follow the prompts to complete the process.
