Overview

This article describes the issue when a different user other than the administrator tries to log in to the Patch Manager Console is it displays nothing.

 

Environment

All versions of Patch Manager

 

Cause 

This issue occurs because the user is not a member of the default administrators group and needs to be added to the Security Roles in the Patch Manager Security and Users Management view.

 

Resolution

  1. When logged in as the administrator, navigate to the Patch Manager Security and Users Management view.
  2. At the top, you will see some tabs, select the Server Roles Tab.
  3. Ensure the user has been added to the EminentWare Users which should be the first entry under Security Roles.
