This article provides instructions on how to add a Classifications Rule to the Update Management Wizard.


All Patch Manager versions


  1. Open the Patch Manager console.
  2. Expand Enterprise.
  3. Select Update Services.
  4. Right click on Update Services and select Update Management Wizard.
  5. Select the relevant option (for example: Download and Install all needed and approved security and critical updates).
  6. Click Next.
  7. To add a new rule, click Add Rule.
  8. Select Classifications Rule.
  9. In the dropdown, select the desired Classification.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish.
