Overview

The following error message appears:

Your Orion account with NCM role Node cannot access NCM pages. Contact your Administrator to change your NCM role.

Environment

  • NPM 11.0 +
  • NCM 7.0+

Cause

The account SID changed in the domain side.

Resolution 1

Make sure that the account you are using has Administrator rights for NCM.

  1. Log on to Orion Web Console using the Admin account.
  2. Go to Settings > All Settings > Manage Accounts.
  3. Select the problematic account and click Edit.
  4. Scroll down to the NCM settings, and select the correct role.
  5. Click Submit.

If this does not fix the issue, you can delete and recreate the account:

Before you delete the account make sure you record the settings you will need to recreate.

  1. Log on to Orion Web Console using the Admin account.
  2. Go to Settings > All Settings > Manage Accounts.
  3. Select the problematic account and click Delete.
  4. Recreate the same Orion domain account and assign the correct role for NCM.

Resolution 2

 1. Edit the account in question: if the setting in NCM is already set to Administrator then change it to None then click submit to save the changes.

 2. Edit the same account, this time put the role back to Administrator then click submit to save the changes.
