Where to find the date on which an alert was configured in the Orion database

Overview

This article shows how to find the date on which an alert was created and the table in the Orion database where it is stored.

Environment

  • Orion Platform, all versions

Steps

1. Log in to the Orion server.

2. Open the Orion Database Manager.

3. Add the default server and access the SolarWinds Orion database instance.

4. Look for [dbo].[AuditingEvents].

5. Run the sample query below.

SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[AuditingEvents]
where auditeventmessage like '%added alert%'

6. You should be able to see results similar to the following.
