Website optimization for initial compilation and caching

Overview

Website Optimization occurs on new product installs to perform initial compilation and caching.

It recompiles files into the Windows .NET framework temporary files as .cs and as .dll binaries, then loads .dll's itself.

Each time you run the Configuration Wizard, website optimization also occurs, unless it is skipped.

It is not recommended that you skip Website Optimization because it can lead to slow performance until the page is cached. Although subsequent refreshing of the page should result in faster page load.

Steps

  1. To run Website Optimization, run the Configuration Wizard
