Unable to add alert action to any alerts

Overview

You are unable to add any alert action due to a disabled active scripting security setting in IE.

Environment

  • All Orion versions

Cause 

The issue is caused by active scripting being disabled.

Resolution

  1. Go to Internet options
  2. In the Security tab, select either the Internet or Local intranet zone
  3. Click Custom level
  4. Scroll down to Scripting and enable Active scripting
