When active diagnostics detects deleted maps and deleted maps objects in your Orion Platform products, delete these records from the database so that they do not affect the Network Atlas not working properly or crashing.

Products with Orion Platform 2017.1 and later, such as NPM 12.1 and later

Records for deleted Network Atlas maps and related objects have the IsDeleted flag set to 1, but are not deleted from the SolarWinds Orion database.

To resolve the issues, delete records for deprecated Network Atlas maps and deleted maps objects from the SolarWinds Orion database:

  1. Stop Orion services on the server hosting your Orion Platform product, for example using the Orion Service Manager.
  2. Create a backup of your database.
  3. Start the Database Manager, and run the following query:
DELETE FROM MapStudioFiles WHERE IsDeleted = 1
  4. Run the database maintenance.
  5. In the Orion Service Manager, start all Orion services.

You have deleted the deprecated map records from the database. Network Atlas works without issues.
