Overview

This article provides tips on how to have better Orion Web Console performance.

Environment

NPM 11.0 and later

Detail

  • Use the Navigation tabs to reduce the amount of load on a single page.
  • Add only resources that you need to be loaded on the first tab (Summary Home Page).
  • Do not overload a single tab with resources.
  • For Network Atlas High Resolution MAP background, even if you do not use any map background, the page will load quickly.
  • Use Multiple Navigation tabs.

  • Move extra loads to other tabs that you do not require to view on the Summary page.
  • Move the resources to each tab. Add more tabs if needed and do not overload a single tab.

  • When using any resources, try using Less Hours or less amount for example, Last 20 Events/Last Hour).

  • Use Top XX type of resources and try to use less amount of load (for example (Top 10 or Top 5).

  • Try not to use more than 2 columns unless needed and do not overload with resources.
