This release of Orion agents extends our monitoring capabilities to Linux. The SolarWinds Orion agent for Linux supports the following distributions:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 x64, x86
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 x64, x86
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 x64
  • CentOS-5 x64, x86
  • CentOS-6 x64, x86
  • CentOS-7 x64

  • SUSE Linux 11 x64, x86
  • SUSE Linux 12 x64
  • Ubuntu-14 x64

The Agent address many of the shortcomings associated with monitoring Linux host via SNMP,

It calculates volume usage statistics including system reserve usage using the df (disk filesystem) command.
