Orion web error: Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types

This article provides brief information and a resolution to the following error when clicking Groups in the Orion web:

Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types


ErrorSite: mscorlib.DBNull.System.IConvertible.ToInt32
ErrorType: System.InvalidCastException

Orion.Informationservice.log will show:
Parameter name: key
at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.FindEntry(TKey key)
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.AvailabilityService.ContainerMembersCollection.Add(ContainerMember item)
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.AvailabilityService.DAL.ContainerMembersDAL.GetMembers(Container container)
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.AvailabilityService.AvailabilityService.RefreshStatus(Container container)
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.AvailabilityService.AvailabilityService.RefreshStatus(Object container)
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.ScheduledTask.DoWork()
at SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.ScheduledTask.RunTask()
[STP SmartThreadPool Thread #265] ERROR SolarWinds.Data.Providers.Orion.Containers.ScheduledTask - ContainerStatusRefresh-17 threw an exception.
System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null

ERROR SolarWinds.Orion.Web.Services.ResourcePickerWebServices - Unexpected error ocured during prebuilding resources cache.
System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'sccorion.secse.local'
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()

Upgrade to NPM 11.5 and later.
