This article explains how time stamps are given to Orion platform events and audit events.

Orion Event Detail

  • Orion Events are logged in the database via SQL/Orion App Server time and not converted to (web console) client browser time but will stay SQL/Orion App Server time.
  • Examples of Orion events:
    Node Down
    Interface Down


Orion Audit Event Detail

  • Audit Events are logged in the database as UTC time then converted to SQL/APP Server time in the web console.
  • Examples of Orion Audit Events
    User deleted alert
    Alert was added
    Node was added
