Network Atlas fails to work remotely after upgrading Orion

Issue:

  • Network Atlas fails to work remotely after upgrading Orion.
  • Network Atlas still works when running it from the local Orion Server.


WARNING when Opening Network Atlas:
·         You are running Network Atlas 1.16.41.0 but the orion server is compatible with older versions. This may lead to unexpected behavior.Consider upgrading your orion Server.

Cause:

  • The Orion Main poller versions doesn't match the remote Network Atlas versions.
  • Either Orion has different versions (Hoftix removed or a newer install done) yet Network Atlas version doesn't match this.


Resolution:

  • After upgrading Orion, the user must also upgrade Network Atlas on any systems that are running the software remotely.
