Missing Node Warning events in the Orion Web Console

Overview

Your environment may require logging when a node is in a Warning state. When you open the Orion Web Console, click Alerts & Activity > Events and check the events from all network devices, Orion did not log any Node Warning events.

  • All Orion platforms

Cause 

Node Warning events are not recorded by default

Resolution

Enable logging for Node Warning events in the Orion database.

  1. Log in to your Orion server.
  2. Open Database Manager.
  3. Run the following query:
    UPDATE EventTypes SET Record = '1' WHERE Name = 'Node Warning'
