Environment

  • Orion Platform, all versions

Resolution

  1. Log in the Orion App Server and stop all Orion services in the Orion Service Manager.
  2. Go to the following directory:
    C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Installer
  3. Right-click and uninstall the following:
    • CollectorInstaller.msi
    • JobEngine.msi
    • JobEngine.v2.msi
  4. Right-click the following and select Install:
    • SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi
    • SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi
  5. Right-click the following and select Install:
    • CollectorInstaller.msi
    • JobEngine.msi
    • JobEngine.v2.msi
  6. Start all the Orion services in the Orion Service Manager.
    We repair the following files:
    • SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi

The Job engine should start automatically after repairing those items.
