How to access the total disk IOPS chart resource details

This article describes how to locate data displaying in the Total disk IOPS chart resource in the SolarWinds Orion Platform database. This resource is located in the Orion Web Console. 


  • Orion Platform


To read the Total Disk Input/Output Operations per second:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features >Database Manager.
  2. Select the required database from the left pane.
  3. Right click Database and select New Query.
  4. Enter the following query in the Query Section.

    SELECT AvgDiskSecPerTransfer, AvgDiskSecPerTransfer_Base, AvgDiskQueueLength, DiskReadsPerSec, DiskWritesPerSec, 
    Frequency_PerfTime, Timestamp_PerfTime, Timestamp_Sys100NS FROM Win32_PerfRawData_PerfDisk_LogicalDisk
  5. Click Execute Query.
