Custom health UnDP pollers do not display in PerfStack

Updated November 9, 2018

When you create multiple health Universal Device Pollers (UnDPs) and assign them to nodes in your deployment, some nodes do not display in Performance Analysis (PerfStack)

  • Orion Platform 2017.3 and higher

The UnDPs do not meet the PerfStack Analysis requirements.

In PerfStack, verify that:

  • The UnDP is set to Rate or Counter type.
  • Keep Historical Data is enabled.

Added as new feature and improvement of PerfStack in Orion Platform 2017.3, you can add Universal Device Pollers to your PerfStack projects no differently than any other metric. Universal Device Pollers for both nodes and interfaces are supported, and display under their respective entity type.
