Database configuration failed: Error while executing script- Could not locate file 'SolarWindsOrion_log'

Overview

The Configuration Wizard fails with the following error message:

Environment

NPM 10.5 to NPM 11.0.1

Resolution

  1. Open the Microsoft SQL Management Studio.
  2. Under Databases, right click the Orion database and then select Task > Detach. - Please confirm if there is a particular database name that the user should right click. (usually our Database name is SolarWindsOrion or NetPerfmon)

3. Right click the database, and then select Task > Attach and indicate the SQL .mdf file. - Is there a specific mdf file that the user need? (it's the Database name is SolarWindsOrion.mdf or NetPerfmon.mdf)
