Create a custom table report displaying the current status of each power supply hardware sensor

Overview

This article describes how to create a custom table report that shows the current status of all power supply hardware sensors in the environment.

Environment

  • Orion Platform 2016.2 and later

Steps

  1. In the Orion Web Console, click Reports > All Reports.
  2. Click Manage Reports.
  3. Select the out-of-the-box report Current - Status of each Hardware Sensor, and click Duplicate & Edit.
  4. In the Layout Builder tab, under Content, click Edit next to the For All Overall Hardware Statuses (Node) drop-down menu.

  5. In the Add Content dialog, select Advanced Selector, and click Add Condition.
  6. In the Where drop-down, select All child conditions must be satisfied (AND).
  7. Click Select field..., search for and select Hardware Type Name, and click Add column.
  8. In the Add content dialog, select is equal to in the first drop-down and Power Supply in the next.

  9. Click Add to Layout and save the report.

 

NOTE:

Information in the report is going to show historical information about the Hardware Sensor.
