Overview

This article describes how to remove the unknown STP status from map connections in NTM version 2.2.

STP STATUS UNKNOWN.PNG

Environment

  • NTM 2.2

Steps

Determine if the following OIDs are supported by the device:

  • 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.98.1.1.1.1.1
  • 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.98.1.1.1.1.8

If those OIDs are not supported by the device, and you do not want to see unknown links on the map:

  1. Navigate to <c:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Network Topology Mapper\Configs\> Calculation.cfg
  2. Edit the Calculation.cfg file.
  3. Comment <string>EtherhannelLinksProcessor</string>.
  4. Rescan the map.
