How to change the SNMP port value for NTM discovery

Overview

This article describes how to change the SNMP port value used for NTM discovery. 

Environment

  • NTM 2.2

Steps

  1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Network Topology.
  2. Open the NTM.BusinessLayer.dll file in a text editor (such as Notepad).
  3. Locate the following entry:

    add key="NtmSnmpPort"value="161"

  4. Change the port value to your desired port. 
  5. Save the file.
