Issue:

You receive an error upon start-up and NTM fails to start.

Resolution:

Verify that Runtime.cfg file on path c:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Network Topology Mapper\Configs\ contains these configurations/values:


      *runtimeSettings*
          *setting name="IsFirstRun" value="true"*
          *setting name="ShowGetStarted" value="True" *
          *setting name="OpenRecent" value=""  *
      *runtimeSettings*
