This article discusses additional node information available in NTM.

Detail

NTM is capable of adding different types of nodes to the map, depending on technology used to collect information from the node, that is ICMP, SNMP, WMI. For example, the following screenshot shows a node which is polled through ICMP and some details are not filled in. These details are specific to SNMP and WMI, hence not populated for ICMP node, and they can only be modified on the polled device, and not in NTM.
