Overview

This article provides caused to the issue when the map in my Worldwide Map of Orion Nodes resource is not displaying.

Environment

All Orion Core Platform versions 2013.2 or later  

Detail

In most cases a map may not render for one of the following reasons:

  • A broken network connection. To resolve, confirm that the server hosting your Orion Web Console is connected through your network to the Internet.
  • Connectivity over required ports is restricted. To resolve, confirm that TCP ports 80 and 443 are open for the server hosting your Orion Web Console.
  • Connectivity to mapquest.com is restricted. To resolve, confirm that *.mapquest.com is not being blocked or blacklisted in any security applications you are running on your network.
  • Connectivity to otile1.mqcdn.com is restricted. To resolve, confirm that otile1.mqcdn.com is not being blocked or blacklisted in any security applications you are running on your network.
