Overview

Sometimes when you try to force a certificate update within NPM you might receive a "ProvideFault failure" message.

Environment

  • NPM 11.5.x

Detail

Stop and start all the Orion Services and this should resolve the error.

Additionally you can try and export the certificate from the Primary Polling Engine and import it into the Trusted Root of the server hosting the agent.

For more information on the certificate itself please click this link:  Certificates and the Agent
