Overview

After upgrading from SolarWinds NPM 11.5 or 11.5.1 to SolarWinds NPM 11.5.1 or 11.5.2, the Alert Me When Volume Has Less Than 60 Days of Capacity Left is triggered not for volumes, but for interfaces that have less than 60 days of capacity left.

Resolution

Run the attached SQL query in the SolarWinds Database Manager.

Note: You can also execute the query using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

 

  1. Launch the SolarWinds Database Manager in your SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features program folder.
  2. If not available, add the SQL server hosting your SolarWinds Orion Database.
  3. Right-click the SQL server and select New Query.
  4. Copy the code below and paste it into the Query tab.
  5. Click Execute Query.

You will now be notified when your volumes have less than 60 days of capacity left.
