Overview

This article covers how to view and report on audit events.  When audit trails are enabled, Orion keeps a record of actions taken by Web Console users.  This allows you to keep track of which users are making changes to your network monitoring profile.

Environment

  • All Orion products

Detail

Audit events can be viewed in the following ways:

  • Message Center:  Visit the Message Center in the Orion Web Console.  The 'Show Audit Events'  checkbox must be checked.
  • Reports:  The report 'Last 100 Audit Events' is available by default.  You can also create a web report to gather audit events.

Note:  Audit events may display sensitive information and require Admin privileges in Orion.  Non-admin users do not have access to view or collect audit event reports.
