This article provides information on how to upgrade to NPM v11.5.

Before you begin upgrading, check the following:
1. Refer to the Release Notes for Orion NPM v11.5 for the latest features and improvements.
2. Refer to the system requirements and ensure that the server to which NPM is installed has sufficient specifications.
3. Refer to the upgrade path for compatibility requirements.

  • If only Orion is installed and the server is running NPM v10.7 and later, it can be directly upgraded to v11.5.
  • if the server is running earlier versions (than v10.7), follow this upgrade path:

Orion NPM 7.8.5 -> 8.5.1 -> 9.1 -> 9.5.1 -> 10.1.3 -> 10.3.1 -> 10.7 -> 11.5.x

  • If NPM is running in addition to other modules, check the upgrade path link to get the exact upgrade path for both NPM and other modules.
    This is to ensure that compatibility between products are maintained.

To upgrade to NPM v11.5:
1. Download the installer file of NPM 11.5 from the Customer Portal
Skip this step if you have previously downloaded it.
2. Go to License Management and select My Downloads.
3. Select the product to be downloaded.
4. Under Server Downloads, the latest release is selected by default in the drop-down menu. Select the desired version to be downloaded.
5. Once the required version has been installed, follow the installation instructions and complete the upgrade to NPM v11.5.
