Upgrade to NPM 12 fails with configuration wizard error

The following configuration wizard error is displayed when upgrading from NPM 11 to NPM 12:

Website configuration failed:
Access to the path 'c:\InetPub\solarwinds2' is denied


NPM 12


This occurs when bindings are not set up correctly in IIS.


Change the bindings to HTTPS in IIS to match the Websites table.

If the issue is not resolved, rebuild the SolarWinds website. It may be necessary to complete the entire set of steps for complete resolution.
