Update the sender email address on all alerts

Overview

This article provides steps on how to update the sender email address on all alerts.

Environment

Core 2016.X or later

NPM 12.0 or later

SAM version 6.2 and later

Steps

  1. In the Orion Web Console, go to Settings > Manage Alerts.
  2. Click the Action Manager tab.
  3. Check as many or as little checkboxes for the actions named Send an Email/Page.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Change the Sender Details.
  6. Click Next a few times.
  7. Click Save Changes.

 

*Sender name information with be overridden if the email account being used has a different name in Exchange.
