Unlock the Network Atlas Map

The Network Atlas Map gets locked at times when the given user credentials for unlocking the maps are unavailable. The maps do not open when having different credentials. 

 

The following steps help to unlock the map using an SQL query:

Before doing any work on your database, please make sure that you have a current backup, as the below steps will make a permanent change to your database - Backing Up, Restoring, and Migrating Your Orion Database.

  1. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features >Database Manager.
  2. Select the required database from the left pane.
  3. Right-click Database > New Query.
  4. Enter the following query in the Query Section:

    Update MapStudioFiles set LockUser= NULL Update MapStudioFiles set LockDate= NULL Update MapStudioFiles set ComputerName= NULL
  5. Click Execute Query.
